I’m looking to hire a general contractor, handyman, or experienced laborer to demolish and remove an second-floor mezzanine inside a commercial warehouse.
Scope of work
The job involves demolishing an interior second-floor structure (mezzanine), including:
• Removing approx. 550–750 sq ft of framed flooring/joists (wood)
• Taking down partial framing walls/railings
• Disconnecting & capping any non-electrical utilities if present
• Cutting and hauling debris to dump trailer or truck
• Leaving the area clean and ready to its shell state
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with demolition or construction
• Able to provide your own basic tools
• Reliable and can start soon
Pay depends on skill level and equipment:
• Labor-only: $25–$40/hr
• Handyman / Skilled Demo: $40–$60/hr
• OR flat-rate bids welcomed
