Stokes Construction, based in Philomath, is seeking an experienced and safety-driven Dump Truck driver for full-time work. We also have other trucking opportunities to include log truck and lowboys for the right candidate. We are a family business that was established in 1972. We build logging roads and are a very busy, contract-driven company.
Required Qualifications:
o Minimum of 2 years verifiable driving experience. Off-road driving experience is highly preferred.
o Current Class A Commercial Driver's License.
o Current Medical Card.
o Negative pre-employment drug test.
o Driving record must be provided at the time of application -- Must include both personal and employment record and must include ALL states in which you have had a driver's license in the last 3 years.
Duties:
o Operate a 10/12-yard dump truck off-road hauling rock and dirt to maintain forest service roads, commercial, and private projects. Ability to pull trailer is a plus.
o Apply loading and unloading procedures.
o Follow safety procedures.
o Work as a team player.
o Other duties as assigned.
We offer Dental/Medical/Vision benefits after 2 months of full-time employment. We also offer PTO and Retirement benefits. Hours worked are usually 60 +, five days a week. A six day work week may be required at times during our busy season.
