Location: Roseburg Metro & Eugene Metro (2-3 days a week servicing both Metro Areas). Ideal candidate would live somewhere in between, like Cottage Grove as an example and can drive one direction or the other.
Schedule: 20–30 hours per week (with potential for more)

We’re expanding our maintenance department and looking for a skilled, dependable Maintenance Technician who takes ownership of their work, communicates clearly, and doesn’t need hand-holding to get the job done.

Job Overview
This role is responsible for day-to-day maintenance and repair work across our managed rental properties. You’ll handle work orders, complete repairs efficiently, document your work properly, and help keep our properties safe, functional, and well-maintained.
You’ll be working independently most of the time, so organization, time management, and accountability matter—a lot.
Key Responsibilities
Work Order Management
Receive, schedule, and complete maintenance requests in a timely manner
Communicate clearly with the office team and document progress and completion
General Repairs & Maintenance
Perform common repairs including:
Minor plumbing and electrical
Carpentry and drywall
Touch-up painting
Hardware replacement (locks, doors, fixtures, etc.)
General troubleshooting and fixes (fixtures/appliances)
Exterior repairs
Preventative Maintenance
Spot issues before they turn into expensive problems
Address safety, habitability, and wear-and-tear proactively
Emergency Response
Be available for occasional after-hours emergency calls (rotated / as needed)
Documentation & Technology
Provide clear documentation for every job:
Time tracking
Receipts
Notes
Before/after photos when applicable
Use company email and maintenance software/mobile apps daily
Team Support
Assist the property management team with other tasks as needed
Maintain a professional, respectful presence with residents and vendors
Requirements
Experience: Prior handyman, property maintenance, or construction experience required
Technical Skills: Working knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical, HVAC systems, carpentry, and general repairs
Organization: Ability to manage multiple work orders and prioritize effectively
Independence: Self-starter who can work without constant supervision
Transportation & Tools: Reliable vehicle and personal tools required
Communication: Professional, clear, and respectful with staff, tenants and sometimes owners
Technology: Comfortable using email, mobile apps, and maintenance software
Physical Ability: Ability to lift over 50 lbs at times, or
Ability to safely troubleshoot and problem-solve how to move heavy items using proper methods, tools, or assistance. Ability to perform physical labor safely
Preferred (Nice to Have)
Experience working in property management maintenance
Familiarity with Oregon landlord-tenant maintenance requirements
