Sun Automotive has served the Eugene–Springfield community since 1977. We’re a family-owned, independent automotive repair company with four locations and a clear standard: do the work right, treat people well, and stand behind it every time.
This is not a volume-at-all-costs shop. We operate with high expectations, strong standardized systems, and real accountability — and we back that up by taking care of our technicians and customers without exception.
Who We Are
Our owner spent over 20 years as a Master Technician, gaining hands-on experience across the full scope of this industry throughout his career. Because of that, he understands firsthand how much every role matters — and how important it is that each person feels supported, respected, and set up to succeed. That perspective guides how we lead our teams and how we show up for our technicians every day.
We believe:
- Integrity guides every decision we make
- Diagnostics should be accurate, not rushed
- People come before numbers — every time
That applies equally to our employees and the customers who trust us with their vehicles.
The Opportunity
We’re looking for a Lube Technician who takes pride in doing the basics right, shows up ready to learn, and wants to be part of a shop that holds itself to a higher standard.
This role is ideal for someone who wants:
- Consistent, well-managed work
- Clear expectations and support
- A professional environment where effort and progress are recognized
- Opportunities for growth
- Career Growth
This is more than an entry-level position. We actively promote from within and offer a structured apprentice program to support skill development. Successful Lube Technicians have the opportunity to advance into a technical role based on performance, skills, and training.
If you’re motivated, dependable, and committed to learning the trade the right way, there is a clear path forward here at Sun.
