Advanced Health Chiropractic, a leading chiropractic clinic in Eugene, Oregon, is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Chiropractic Assistant for massage therapy to join our dynamic team. NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY! We will train you as a chiropractic assistant and in massage! Our clinic is well-known for its patient-centered approach and commitment to excellence in chiropractic care.
Position: Chiropractic Assistant - Massage Therapy
Location: 1742 W 10th Avenue, Eugene, OR 97402
Schedule: Part-time to start. Monday - Friday, possibly some Saturdays.
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday 1:45 PM - 7:15 PM, Wednesdays 12:40 PM - 7:15 PM, with some intermittent Saturdays as necessary (after licensed with various times).
Compensation: Competitive wage
Start Date: After state board requirements and training are completed with a start date approximately 1 month after intake. There is an upfront cost of $404 that is required by the Oregon Board of Chiropractic Examiners, which will be FULLY reimbursed after 90 days of employment. These fees include state application fee, CPR training, Chiropractic Assistant Training, and the State Board Licensing Exam. None of the fees are paid to AHC, instead they are paid directly to the State and/or Education Body.

Key Responsibilities
-Patient Interaction: Perform various types of manual and massage therapy to patients looking to reduce pain and improve range of motion.
-Administrative Duties: Maintain accurate patient records.
-Patient Education: Instruct patients on post-treatment care, stretches, and lifestyle adjustments to enhance treatment outcomes.
-Continuing Education: Attend weekly classes led by our on-staff chiropractor to improve on anatomy knowledge and various treatment modalities.
Qualifications
-Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; certification as a Chiropractic Assistant is a plus.
-Experience: Previous experience in a healthcare setting is preferred but not required.
-Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, proficiency in electronic medical records systems, and ability to multitask effectively. Good hand-eye coordination and ergonomic movements. Ability to lift more than 20 pounds, and apply pressure to patients in an effective way. (These skills will also be trained extensively during introductory training.)
