Condition: New/open box, some items never used
I purchased this directly from Apple with the intention of using it to repair my sister’s MacBook Pro while she was visiting from out of state. Once she arrived, it turned out her laptop was a much newer model than the information she had sent me. Not only that, but it was also still covered by AppleCare+, which had just renewed a few months earlier.
So, $320 later, I ended up with this Apple bottom case removal kit that I never actually used. I’m not an Apple owner/user myself, so I don’t see myself needing it. I held onto it for almost a year, but the wife says it’s time to downsize some of my non-essential 'hubby stuff' which has been an ongoing effort.
The kit has been sitting on my bench, but none of the parts have been used. Everything that came with it is still in the box, and some items are still unopened.
Kit includes:
- Bottom case fixture
- C-clamps
- Cut-resistant gloves
- 1 pair small
- 1 pair medium
This kit is said to be compatible with the following MacBook Pro models, and possibly others. Please confirm compatibility and fitment before buying, as I purchased this only for my sister’s MacBook and I’m not an Apple user.
