On this add I would like to let you know what you can expect when using us for your crawl space restoration needs. Summary of things we do when we do a crawl space restoration.
*First we protect your home with plastic and drop clothes throughout the house.
*Then we clean up crawl space, everything goes that's not attached to the house; old insulation, string, plastic (vapor barrier), all construction debris of all kinds, and we vacuum up rodent feces if it's a rodent job. VERY IMPORTANT: WE WILL NEVER LEAVE ANY DEAD RODENTS UNDER YOUR HOUSE. Many companies just throw them under the plastic,. we have seen this quite a bit, so the cheapest bid is never the best way to go.
*After the clean-up we will do a good look through, make sure everything looks good and there aren't any other issues such as random wires hanging around, any kind of rot or termite damage, mold, mildew anything and everything that's bad for your home. We will write up a report with photos and problem areas and how to fix those areas, nothing will be over looked.
*Once we are satisfied and gone over everything with the homeowner we will start the install process. Foaming and rodent exclusion which usually resorts to screening off any areas that have a gap big enough for a rodent to get in. Keep in mind most rats can crawl through a hole the size of a quarter. We lay down black 6 mil plastic with at least 2 to 3 feet of overlap over seams.
*Then we install insulation with string and/or lath which are skinny pieces of wood for a little extra support for your insulation. Works really good for post and beam crawl spaces (which means you have beams that span usually four feet with tongue and groove boards and they're sitting on posts) Not 16" or 24" apart like standard practices today.
