My name's Carlie (she/her) and I'm looking for a unique and kind human to share space with, roughly by June 1st 🤗
The space: (Pictures are of the available room!)
-Downtown ish neighborhood, Washington and W Broadway area. Great location to walk to downtown amenities!
-$1400/month, $700 each with water included and relatively low utilities overall.
-Gas heat (new furnace) but no built in AC.
-The entire downstairs of what was once a 2 story home, many many moons ago.
-2 bedrooms, 1 small bathroom with full size shower/tub combo
-Large, open living/dining room area
-A large basement😁 This saved me during the summer heat, it stays about 70-72 degrees consistently.
-Good sized kitchen with plenty of storage space and everything you need, including a dishwasher 🙃
-Back entrance leads directly to the shared washer and dryer for you and the other apartments. It's coin operated, $2 a load.
-Covered front porch, a little small but great for growing a few things, having a smoke break and watching the rain 🌧
-Plenty of street parking!
Bit about me and what I'm looking for🙃:
I'm an East Coast transplant, originally from PA but most recently from NY. I've been in the Eugene area for almost 5 years now, at this address since January 2024 😊 I work 6 days a week between 2 jobs as a caregiver and very much enjoy what I do.
I'm 34, no kids or pets, and I'm a lover of travel and nature adventures. I'm very 420 and LGBTQIA+ friendly, and would prefer a housemate who is as well.
I'm looking for someone who likes to keep a relatively tidy and clean home, and we would take turns for all household tasks. I would love to take turns cooking and sharing meals together, when our schedules allow! When I'm not working or crafting at home while watching Netflix, I love to be near the water 😇 I find myself at a river, lake or ocean at least once a week or two!
