Come and share our sweet little home. We're a female massage therapist (late 30s) and an elder dog. Both houses are open to the cats and dog.
The bedroom can be requested furnished or unfurnished. It’s one bedroom of two but the rest of the shared house is 3,000 sq ft up and down.
Cozy, efficient fire place/wood stove upstairs and downstairs; washer and dryer included; half an acre of a yard with lots of fruit trees with room to garden.
It's subtlety tucked away on the middle of a very quiet cul de sac off Horn Lane and yet so convenient to Emerald Park(pool, spa and gym etc) & bike path as well as 5-10 minutes drive to downtown.
Please be clean, considerate and a good talker. We’re working full time, except for the dog. He’s pretty old, retired and mostly friendly to people (he doesn’t give a shit about strangers/neighbors/whatever), indifferent to cats/squirrels/random things who wander through our yard, but NOT good with other dogs. He's great outside in his yard and house, but inside his house he's very skittish and territorial, he'll snap at the other dogs for simply looking if they're standing too close to one of his toys.
The problem is there are already three Cats, and we’ve no way to test how they might go together. The cat who just moved out recently spent all of her time hiding in her room, even though she was there first! We’d like to think the boys would be at peace with a new cat in our home but are afraid it will result in spraying and tussles and anyway keep at least one of the cats unhappy. Monthly rent $550. Security deposit $300(refundable)
