Hey everyone! I’m a 40-year-old guy looking for a responsible, down-to-earth roommate to fill a bright, empty room opening up July 1st (tentative, based on when my current roommate moves out).
It will just be the two of us in a 3-bedroom, 1-bath place. This is the downstairs of a house with a backyard. The third bedroom is dedicated shared storage space, and there’s a little extra storage outside too. Right now, I have the living room set up as a workout and yoga space, but I’m totally flexible on rearranging things if you want to bring in some traditional living room furniture!
A Bit About Me & The Vibe:
I’m into fitness, healthy eating, martial arts, spirituality, science, video games, movies, and podcasts. I also play bass, sing, do a lot of karaoke, play soccer, and host occasional game nights with friends. Because we’ll be sharing the space, I’d love to find someone I naturally get along with. I highly value proactive communication—talking through things before or as they come up so we keep a great, resentment-free dynamic. I'm looking for someone who keeps normal waking hours, is clean, and naturally tidies up after themselves.
The Space & Financials:
Rent: $650/month + split utilities (~$80-$140)
Location: Awesome downtown location, well-shaded, and well-maintained. Alley parking is available.
The Building: Upstairs is a completely separate lease/entrance, and the neighbor is very quiet. The property is privately owned but professionally managed by a rental company that is super quick with repairs.
Lease Details: The current lease runs through August, with the option/intent to renew. The management company requires everyone living here to be on the lease, which involves a credit/background check and a $35 application fee.
Pets: The landlord has a strict "no pets" policy, though official ESA animals are allowed.
If this sounds like a good fit, please reach out! Tell me a bit about yourself, your daily routine, and why you think we’d make great roommates. Looking forward to connecting!
