My wife Sara and I are currently looking for a property or community to plug into near Eugene, OR. We currently live just outside of Cottage Grove (love it) and are in the process of completing our tiny home on wheels. We are responsible, alcohol and drug free, & have one indoor /outdoor cat "Doozer". We do yoga, meditate, hike, & participate in local recovery communities. I'm a retired RN now general contractor and my wife still works as a RN. I've been keeping busy building geodesic domes and tiny homes for the last few years. I'd like to spend more of my time farming and supporting agricultural related work here in or around the Willamette valley. Our ideal setup would be some kind of long term arrangement where we can set up a solar array for our tiny house / electrical needs. Possibly install a septic system, or be in a good situation for using our composting toilet. I can contribute a fair amt of building experience, systems design and maintenance. My wife loves gardening & animals, does health and recovery coaching in addition to still working part time at the hospital. We are ready to start on potential infrastructure improvements now to transition in the spring / summer. We both have lived in communities in the past and are open to just living on one person / family properties, or in small or medium sized communal settings. Our tiny house is 10x30' and we have other trailers for tools and hauling things, so we need a slightly larger footprint that just for our trailer. We are resourced in the sense that we could also consider purchasing / long term leasing property with others and forming a community. We are from the midwest, and have been in the Eugene area for 10 years. We are open to relocating to Washington or California as well... & who knows other opportunities? DM us for phone / schedule a meeting. Our friends know we have been working on making this transition for quite a while already... remaining hopeful for a 2026 jump into what's really next.— feeling excited. Open to long term land lease, improving unimproved land, work /
