Warehouse assistant wanted for full time, seasonal position for wholesale business in NW Eugene.
Will also be making some local deliveries plus occasional out of town or out of state deliveries to multiple customers. A completely clean driving record is required (our insurance company checks). Able to lift 100 pounds; strenuous hand unloading required. A commercial drivers license is not required, but experience with medium sized trucks is a plus (our truck is a Hino automatic, with a 24' box and a maximum gross vehicle weight of 26,000 pounds).
A good work ethic is required, with a pro-active, thorough, detail oriented personality. Must be capable of reading, writing, and comprehending English. Must have moderate math skills.
Must be physically capable of lifting boxes above head level, retrieving boxes from above head level, bending, climbing ladders and using a mechanical lift.
Pre employment drug screening is required.
