Start Date: March 23, 2026
End Date: June 30, 2026
Job Description: In support of the Yes On IP28 campaign, End Animal Cruelty is excited to be hiring both Full-Time and Part-Time Petition Circulators. IP28 is a proposed ballot initiative for the Oregon 2026 General Election that seeks to ban injuring and killing animals, including the slaughter of animals for food, hunting, and experimentation. Intentional injury for self-defense and veterinary practices would remain exempt, but all other intentional injury would be prohibited.
Qualifying for the ballot would be a historic moment in the history of the animal rights movement. This would represent the first time that the general public had an opportunity to vote on whether society should move away from killing and breeding animals.
Positions will be paid at a rate of $25/hour, after successful completion of your first two weeks which will be paid at $20/hour. Circulators are required to work at least 10 hours per week. Applicants do not need to be registered to vote, or old enough to vote, but must reside in Oregon or Washington. We do not have funding to help relocate people who are hoping to move from out of state, however, if you are already planning to move to Oregon and do not need assistance doing so you are welcome to apply.

Gather signatures on a state initiative petition
Communicate with the public about the campaign
Qualifications:
Must not have been convicted in any state for a criminal offense involving fraud, forgery, or identification theft
Must not have been fined for not complying with any laws regarding petition circulation
Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
Pay Information: $25 Hourly (First two weeks are probationary at $20/hour)
