I am an older (66) guitar player/singer. I am looking for another guitarist or keyboard player, a bass player and a drummer interested in working on a repertoire of swing era and Latin jazz standards and pop tunes, with a sprinkling of country, rock and Americana; basically good songs that are fun to play. I was playing with a group focusing on well-known pop and rock tunes. It was fun but not really the direction I wanted to go. I have an interest in a mellower and jazzier, but still upbeat and danceable sound.
I am an intermediate level guitar player with a good chord vocabulary and ability to play strong rhythm and some lead. Vocally I am a baritone and a strong lead singer. I have some experience singing harmony and would love to do more. I am interested in gigging.
