This guitar is an incredible work horse, but I just never really bonded with it. It's way too nice of a guitar to sit in a case so hopefully someone will get more use out of it.
I have had this for over a year, bought it used from Mckenzie River Music. It's basically a more affordable Suhr, or the perfect Telecaster on steroids. I've done quite a few gigs with it but it's been well taken care of. The playability is excellent, bending is SMOOTH with the stainless steel frets, and the sound is incredible. Articulate, punchy, and just an all-around lively sound. Very versatile. The neck pickup is especially wonderful, covers everything from SRV to liquid lead tone. Tuning stability is infallible. The body contours also make for a very comfy playing experience. Seriously this is an incredibly well designed instrument.
Only tweaks I've made were to setup the gotoh trem to float, and replace the top 3 titanium saddles with brass to help reduce some high end (original saddles are included as well as all 6 of the new gotoh brass ones). Sounds great either way this was just personal preference.
I am not in a rush to get rid of it, and the only reason I am is that I find myself reaching for PRS and Gibson-style guitars more. $1350 obo
