condition: new
make / manufacturer: Ibanez
model name / number: EHB1505MS
This is basically a brand-new 1505. It has been to 3 practices, & tried out during one set at a gig. It cuts thru a mix very well, plays like absolute butter, & sounds terrific. Tone-wise (when set flat), it has a slight mid-forward sound; a bit growly & aggressive with rich harmonic content. It can get quite deep with a twirl of the bass knob, & it sounds crazy good in passive mode.

If you want to try out a multi-scale bass, but don't want to go the Dingwall route, this is the way to do it. I didn't notice after playing for about 5 minutes. The fanning of the frets isn't as aggressive as a Dingwall. The Ibanez is 33" at the G-string & fans out to 35" at the B-string.

- Neck; 9pc Panga Panga/Walnut neck w/Graphite reinforcement rods
- Top/Body; Poplar Burl top, Selected light weight African Mahogany body
- Fretboard; Bound Panga Panga fretboard, Off-set Abalone dot inlay, glow-in-the-dark side markers
- 24 Medium Stainless Steel frets
- Bridge; Ibanez MR5HS bridge
- 18mm string spacing
- Pickups; Nordstrand™ Custom Big Split
- EQ; Vari-mid 3-band EQ w/ EQ bypass switch (passive tone control on treble pot)
Stacked bass & treble, & active/passive switch, Volume, P/U blend
- Color; Black Ice flat

I am selling this fine instrument because I need a motorcycle for commuting. I've only owned it for a few months, & it has zero signs of wear on it. I've included some closeup pictures to show how nice the wood grain is, not to highlight any dings or dents. There aren't any. It is also very light & extremely comfortable. If you have back issues, try this one out!

If you've wanted one of these, save yourself several hundred dollars & the wait time, & buy this one.

Any reasonable offer will be entertained (I'm a reasonable feller), but no low-ballers, scammers, or other ubiquitous stuff you have to say on CL. Feel free to text me, & I'll answer at my earliest convenience. If you're not in the Eugene area, let me know; arrangements can be made, & I'm not afraid to ship on your dime. We have a very experienced shipping crew where I work.
