This 2006 414CE is an early iteration of Taylor's popular Grand Auditorium innovation predating the Andy Powers era of Taylor design and construction. Solid Sitka Spruce and solid African Ovangkol back and sides. Cream binding on the back and sides highlight the grain. Build in Taylor's southern CA factory with traditional X bracing, now a rarity among U.S. made Taylors outside the Legacy Collection. The neck has a scarfed "finger" joint where the headstock meets the neck- a Taylor innovation. Equipped with Taylor's proprietary pick up. Original hard shell case.
