Detail
Power
40 watts (tube) with a ¼-power switch to reduce output (for lower volume / more saturated tone at manageable volumes).
Speakers
One 12″ custom-voiced EVH Celestion speaker. Cabinet is MDF with a plywood baffle to reinforce tight and solid bass response.
Power Tubes
Two power tubes. The standard version uses 6L6 power tubes. There is also an EL34 variant (which changes the character of the amp somewhat).
Preamp Tubes
Two ECC83S (12AX7) preamp tubes.
Channels / Voicings
Two main channels: “Green” (Clean → Overdrive) and “Red” (Lead / Burn). Each channel has a voicing switch: Green has an Overdrive switch, Red has a Burn switch.
Controls
Separate Gain & Volume for each channel; shared 3-band EQ (Low, Mid, High); global Reverb; global Presence & Resonance; Boost function (≈ +10 dB, footswitchable); Noise Gate on channel two; effects loop; line outs etc.
Outputs & Connectivity
¼-inch speaker outputs (parallel), selectable impedance (4, 8, 16 ohms); speaker-emulated XLR DI out with power amp mute; footswitch included for channel switching & boost.
Tone & Character
• Gain range from cleanish / crunchy (Green channel with Overdrive) up to high gain / lead tones (Red + Burn) — can push pretty hard.
• The 6L6 version tends to have more American-type punch, cleaner low end; the EL34 version shifts the tonality more towards “British” mid-rangey coloration, tighter mids, slightly different breakup character.
• With the ¼-power switch, you can get more saturation (tube distortion) at lower volumes, which is useful for smaller venues, rehearsal, or for getting cranked tones without insane levels.

Build & Features
• Cabinet & Materials: MDF with plywood baffle. Built to be fairly rugged, though it isn’t light (≈ 53 lbs / 24 kg) for a combo.
• Aesthetic: Black or Ivory textured vinyl covering; vintage-style “chicken-head” knobs; EVH / 5150 badge styling; brushed aluminum or anodized top panel depending on version.

Pros & What It’s Good For
• Very good high-gain tones, especially for rock / hard rock / metal. The gain and “burn” voicings are aggressive and usable.
• Versatile enough—two channels plus voicings, eq, boost, etc. — to cover rhythm, leads, even some overdub work.
• The ¼-power switch helps when you want to push tubes without blasting everyone out.
• Recording / live friendly: speaker-emulated XLR out is handy, effects loop, multiple impedance outputs.
