This djembe is made from a solid piece of plantation grown mahogany wood. It is hand carved with a horizontal ripple motif that suggests a flowing river. The hand selected goat skin head is secured and tuned with the traditional Mali Weave system. Includes cap that protects the drum with a heavy-duty reinforced top and extra-long skirt. A great balance between portability and playability. The medium size drum is ideal for older children, teens, and smaller adults. Owner's manual is available.
