This dobro is a well-crafted Korean instrument that an East Coast luthier upgraded with a top quality resonator, spider, and other parts. So, it has that sweet sound that you hear from players like Jerry Douglas.

I bought it directly from the luthier some 25 or 30 years ago, but his name escapes me, I’m afraid. I seem to recall he was associated with Paul Beard.

Anyhow, this is a great dobro! It is in a good hard-shell case. I am asking $750, but I don’t think you could get anything this good today for less than $1500.
