for rent: historical harpsichord (Eugene)

This is an exact copy of a Ruckers (1624, Colmar) Flemisch harpsichord with grand ravelement (thus going from FF to f3), built by Titus Crijnen in Zaragoza, Spain, in 2009. Its value is about $ 17500.
It is a 1-manual, 8'+8' (with lute stop) instrument that is transposable (A390-415-440).

The harpsichord is for rent for at least 1 year, for use for recitals, continuo playing, or just practice. Monthly rent includes bench, cover, music stand, legs, and tuning hammer. A humidifier can be added for free in order to maintain the correct humidity for the instrument.
Student and long-term renter discounts are available!

Here is the site of the builder: http://www.tituscrijnen.com/Titus_Crijnen_harpsichords/Preface.html
Here are approximate sound samples (recorded on a very similar instrument by the same builder)

The instrument will only be rented to people who demonstrate at least some degree of experience in playing a harpsichord and who are aware of its value and fragility and committed to treating it with care and respect.
