The Blue Reactor is a distinctive studio condenser with a bold red body, swiveling capsule head, and selectable polar patterns. It is designed for vocals, acoustic guitar, guitar cabinets, room capture, stereo techniques, voiceover, percussion, and general studio recording where you want a flexible large-diaphragm condenser with character.
The Reactor features a large-diaphragm condenser capsule, Class-A discrete solid-state electronics, and three selectable polar patterns: cardioid, omni, and figure-8. Sweetwater’s archived listing describes it as a multi-pattern condenser with a 90-degree swiveling head, useful for tight spaces and stereo setups such as Mid-Side recording.
