This is Akai’s dedicated Ableton Live performance controller, built for clip launching, mixing, device control, scene navigation, and hands-on live performance. It’s great for Ableton users who want a physical control surface for launching clips, riding faders, tweaking devices, and building live sets without staying glued to the mouse.
The APC40 MKII features a 5x8 RGB clip-launching grid, nine faders, eight channel control knobs, eight device control knobs, and plug-and-play Ableton Live integration. Ableton describes the MKII as having 40 responsive clip-launch triggers with RGB feedback, plus hands-on fader and knob control for mixer and device work.
