condition: good
make / manufacturer: Polaris
Thinning the herd a bit, and it's time for this one to find a new home.

Polaris brand superstrat with two single coils and a humbucker. These guitars were made in the 70s and 80s, but judging on the design of this one, it's likely late 80s. The pickups are of unknown origin, but they seem to be original to the guitar, and sound decent. The neck is straight, and the truss rod is free. I believe this was likely a Korean made instrument. From my recollection, Polaris was the house brand of the now defunct PNW music chain "Music West." Amps with this same logo and typeface were actually labeled as being made here in Eugene.

Full size CTS volume pot, push-pull tone which seems to be wired to a coil-split for the humbucker. Floyd Rose style Jinah branded locking trem. Tuners are unbranded, but seem to be cheap sealed tuners, and hold well (likely due to the locking nut. Very thin neck profile (similar to Ibanez wizard necks) with 22 frets, 25.5" scale length. Fret markers are mother of pearl looking , and the frets show some wear, as you would expect from a 30+ year old guitar. There is also an Allen key holder on the back of the headstock, but no keys.

There is some cosmetic damage to the guitar, but no signs of any major damage over the years. This guitar wasn't babied, but it wasn't beaten. Most of the damage is chips in the poly finish. The term arm is also missing the plastic end piece.

Asking $150, but willing to hear reasonable offers. Contact Ian through CL mail or by phone/text.
