We are in need of an electronics assembler with good soldering AND mechanical skills for assembling and wiring control cabinets with push button assemblies, terminal block and backplates.
THIS PERSON WILL NEED TO KNOW HOW TO SOLDER WELL AT 900 DEGREES WITH SILVER SOLDER.
They will need to have good mechanical skills that can cross-over to manage inventory, and assist with our parcel shipping and receiving operations.
THIS JOB WILL HAVE THE FOLLOWING JOB DUTIES:
- Soldering with Silver solder
- Assembling various electronic circuit boards
- Assembling through-hole type circuit boards
- Assembling wire harnesses of different kinds
- Wiring control panels
- Assembling control cabinets
- Inventory control
- Quality control of all parts made in the department
- Organizing components / Maintaining organization set in place
- Assisting parcel service shipping and receiving
- Packaging of control cabinets
THIS PERSON WILL NEED TO HAVE THE FOLLOWING ABILITIES:
- Solder at high heat with unleaded solder
- Electronics assembly
- Mechanical assembly
- Knowledge & understanding of electronic parts
- Capable of learning and retaining new things
- Multi-tasking
- Windows based PC operation
- Quality control supervision
- Good vision, or properly corrected vision -- many small parts and small holes
