Math tutor available for summer/fall.

Recently retired teacher of 30+ years. Most of my time was spent teaching middle and high school math, but also have recent experience with upper elementary. My rates are $30 for a half hour or $50 for a full hour. If you are in the local area of Eugene/Springfield, I’m happy to travel to you. If outside of town, I would need to add a travel charge based on your location.

My passion is helping students understand the mathematics behind what they are doing. Tips and tricks are great, but easily forgotten if you don’t understand them. I’ve been told by numerous students that the way I explain things has helped them to finally “get it” after years of struggling.
