My name is David. I have 40+ years experience playing guitar, advanced music degrees, and many years of teaching experience in both private and classroom settings. In addition to guitar, I also teach voice, bass guitar, ukulele, songwriting, and audio production.

I accept beginning and intermediate students of any age. Here's a sample of what I can teach you:

Chords and scales
Rhythm and timing
Reading tablature or sheet music
Proper technique to prevent strain or fatigue
Fingerstyle fundamentals
Phrasing, dynamics, and musicality
Effective practice habits
Theory (as needed)
Songwriting

I will strive to tailor lessons to your goals and together we will have fun making music, which is the most important part!

I teach using MOOZ (pronounced "muse"), an online teaching platform designed specifically for music. You can download it for FREE (as a student) at MOOZ.com. If you've ever used Zoom (Who hasn't these days?), it will look and feel familiar, but the audio quality and synchronization are much better.

My rate is $25 per thirty minute lesson. First lesson is FREE. Venmo or PayPal accepted.
