COMPANY/POSITION SUMMARY
Are you ready for adventure? Vertechs Electrical is a wireless telecommunications electrical installation contractor working throughout the Pacific Northwest. We thrive on creating a company that positively impacts employee safety (physical and psychological), personal growth, and accountability.
Along with regular travel across the Pacific Northwest, this position has opportunity to learn new skills under the mentorship of our Journeyman Electrician. We welcome applicants who have a deep motivation to work as part of a small traveling team, diversify their knowledge, and work on varied jobsites throughout the year.
POSITION INFORMATION
• Pay: $18-$24 *Depending on qualifications
• Work Location: Throughout the state of Oregon
• Office Location: Cottage Grove, OR
• Schedule: Monday-Friday

GENERAL DUTIES
1.Job Preparation: Work with Electrician and Cell Tower Technicians to understand job and achieve goals. Load trucks, organize tools, transport materials.
2.Technical: Assist with logistical and physical labor tasks.
3.Utilize Tools and Equipment. Use, manage, and care for a variety of tools and equipment throughout the workday.
4.Safety: Perform safety checks, participate in safety discussions with team, and uphold the highest safety standards. Perform all work within legal and compliance requirements.
5.Documentation: Utilize a variety of online programs to complete technical work and communicate with co-workers, including Email, Microsoft Teams, Trello.
6.Other duties as assigned as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum
•Mechanical aptitude
•Knowledge of hand and power tools
•Driver’s License with a good driving record (past 3 years)
•Ability to travel and work throughout Oregon and Washington, includes overnight stays
•Ability to work overtime
•Ability to report to main warehouse, Cottage Grove, OR
•Drug testing may be required
Preferred
•Experience in wireless infrastructure
•Certifications applicable to the work (OSHA 30, CPR, Bloodborne Pathogens, RF Awareness, Hazard Communication) Company may provide.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
•Ability to work in weather conditions ranging from snow, rain, wind to high heat and everything in between.
•Position Requires: lifting, carrying, squatting, pulling, reaching, bending, sitting, walking, driving.
•Position Requires: Lifting 50 lbs.- 75 lbs. repeatedly.
