Each fair is sectioned off to offer a diverse variety of seeds. Take only what you need and leave enough for others.
ASN offers high quality seed of known varieties. If you have seeds to share, please label them with type/variety, prepackage them if possible, and talk to one of the ASN coordinators.
A bunch of tables will be setup with tons of different varieties of apple, pear, plum, peach, cherry, fig, grape, willow & more.
Everyone is welcome to take a single scion of each variety, but again, please take only what you need and leave enough for everyone else.
ASN is seeking cuttings of named varieties from prolific, healthy, un-sprayed, and organic sources. Please reach out to us with any questions.
Each fair offers an assortment of different rootstock for grafting pear, apple, quince, plum, cherry, etc. Each rootstock generally costs $5 and you are limited in the amount you can purchase. Experienced grafters are available to graft them for you at the fair for an additional small donation.
Please arrive early if you have anything to share. Please note that we often have adequate scion or seeds of common varieties, so we may not need what you have to share. The prefered method of sharing is to coordinate with ASN during the winter each year so we can sort and distribute your propagation material to all the fairs.
ASN is 100% volunteer run, so please help us out if and when you can! Setup usually begins 2 hours before each event and it usually takes 1 hour to breakdown afterwards.
We have different scion cutting and sorting work parties during the winter.
Please join the Agrarian Sharing Network facebook group as most of our organizing is run through there.
