Mason Bees - $5 (Springfield)

These tubes and blocks were all nested this year. They will not hatch until spring 2025. They are mostly a mix red mason bees and blue orchard mason bees.

I’m selling 6-inch reed and bamboo tubes for $5 each. Each tube has 10-15 eggs, which usually sell for $1 per egg online and in stores. The pre-drilled blocks range from 6 to 36 tubes and are priced from $25 to $150.

I’m not making money here. I’m just selling them to cover the cost of more tubes, lumber, supplies, etc. so I can keep raising more and get as many of these native pollinators out there as possible.

These are not honey bees. They are native pollinators. They visit about 100 times more flowers in a day than honey bees but they do not produce honey. They also are not aggressive at all and pretty much never sting.
