Pleasant Pastures Farm in beautiful Pleasant Hill, Oregon, is now offering beef shares from our grass-fed, pasture-raised, stress-free cows – raised the right way! Ethically harvested.
We raise small herd (20-25 head) of beef cattle on 75 acres. We have a mix of larger (angus and angus cross, and smaller dexter/highland cross) Our larger herd finish out at 700-850 lbs hanging weight for a whole cow, the smaller breeds finish out around 500 lbs hanging weight for a whole cow. We sell in 1/4, 1/2, and whole.
Price is $4.50/lb hanging weight for a whole or half, $4.75/lb for a quarter. We require a $100/quarter deposit to secure your share. After slaughter, we will contact you with the hanging weight and balance due. Butchering is done to your specifications by 4-Star Meat Company in Eugene. Slaughter, cut and wrap fee is paid to the butcher at time of pick-up (approximately $1.25/lb hanging weight).
