Our animals are raised on certified organic nutritive pastures, grown using biodynamic methods. We do on farm slaughter, as we feel it's more humane than transporting to a facility, therefore reducing stress, which can affect the taste of the meat.
We offer 1/4 shares (estimated 125-250 lbs at the hanging weight at $9.00/lb, 1/2 shares (estimated 250-450 lbs at the hanging weight at $8.50/lb., and whole animals (estimated 500-900 lbs at the hanging weight at $8.00/lb). ALL of the kill fees, cutting/wrapping and freezing costs are included in the per lb. price.
We also offer Non-organic shares at $8.00/lb at the hanging weight for a 1/4 share and reduced by $.50 for a 1/2 or Whole animal, as well as Ground beef only shares (estimated 175-275 lbs at the hanging weight for $6.00/lb.)
We have several butcher dates throughout the summer and fall.
