I bought it new. The pictures say a lot. It has been used once for a hedge I hoped to plant, but my thumbs are the kiss of death. The one time I used it was for a 120 ft line; I thought it spread about 4-5 ft wide and well dispersed. The spreader box is about 4' wide. What I see online is around 2 to 2-1/2 ft wide and tipsy. Good times were a comin'. But the times changed. I'd keep it, but I like grass & plants too much. - There's no rust. Personally I'd have no problem eating off of it. The spreader bar turns fine judging by the seed being well placed.

I don't see this model for sale new.
