For sale: McClellan Indian War/WWI Cavalry Trooper Saddle, Fully Restored, Complete Outfit - $700 - This beautiful saddle was professionally restored by Rem's Farm Saddlery, Live Oak Florida and is outfitted with correct breast collar (with brass Eagle centerpiece), tail crupper and original horsehair cinch. It features all new strap leathers, cinch leathers, correct saddle bags, new fenders and lightweight tapaderos covered wood stirrups. Has all new fleece padding and fleece cinch pads. You can see it's not been used since restored. The seat measures 14" (see pic) regardless the badge says 11-1/2". Narrow 4" gullet will fit a high withered horse. Perfect for the serious enthusiast. Be be ready for the next reenactment, or when a movie wants realistic soldiers that come w/horse and outfitted correctly. This might be the nicest, complete McClellan saddle set-up you'll ever find. Look around and yo'll see other restored McClellan saddles that are not even close in quality, have less accessories, and cost more!
