Wooden Rocking Chair-Large

Hi All,
First off I want to thank all those who provided recommendations and support. Thanks 😊
The facts as I now know them:

1. I have no documentation as to the past owners or when and who I purchased this from, except my memory. I purchased it from a KS family between 1981 and 1985 for $400 (Fort Riley, KS).
2. It has been reupholstered because the staples were used on a more modern piece and not on a chair made over 100 years ago.
3. After researching and talking to antique experts, I looked for labels, signatures, markings, and any other identifying marks indicating who, what, where, and when this chair was made. On April 25 my wife and I removed the bottom cloth (as requested by an antique dealer in Massachusetts) and still found no identifying characters.
4. We did find underneath the bottom cloth and spring ties which might indicate when the chair was made…but again, no such info was found on websites.

This chair does not have any cracks or broken areas, and the wood has never been painted or refinished, to the best of my physical inspection. It’s a very beautiful, large quarter-sawn oak rocking chair. See Pictures.

We now have no room nor need to use this chair.

The buyer must physically remove and transport the chair.

Thanks to all again,
RonB

Was listed at $400

BONUS: Old wooden foot stool included (similar style but different).
