Solid wood, well ventilated construction. Approx 2" between slats. Mattress can go right on top, no need for box spring. Ample space under platform allows for easy cleaning and potential for storage.
Once you have your bedding on your mattress you can't really see much of the low profile platform at all.
It's fairly light; some slats just pull out so it's easy to lift the main frame. It will fit in the back of many hatch-back cars with the seat down, or with some tie downs it'll easily strap to a roof rack.
4 large legs recessed so your feet don't hit them if you are standing close to the bed.
15" from floor to top. If requested, I can cut legs a few inches lower or higher for modified overall height. Some folks like low to the floor or higher for storage or space for pets.
Very stable, kiln dried hemlock wood, sanded.
Leg assembly can be detached with a few loosened screws.
