The Nave Kitchen is seeking an experienced part time line Cook. We are a new kitchen located inside PublicHouse in downtown Springfield.
The line Cook is responsible for preparing, cooking, and plating menu items in a fast-paced kitchen, maintaining station cleanliness, following recipes, and ensuring food safety, typically working under the direction of a chef. They must have strong multitasking skills, time management, proficiency with kitchen equipment (grills, fryers), and the ability to work under pressure. Must be able to take initiative on what needs to be prepped during down time. Works great as a team and good communications skills but also thrives solo. A positive attitude is a must, with a strong sense of compassion and empathy. Some customer service skills, as you will run food to tables occasionally. 2-5 years of line experience is required.
