Blu Mist Restaurant & Bar is locally owned restaurant and now hiring for the following position:
Dining room Server
Expectations:
- Must be a Good personal hygiene.
- Able to work in a team oriented, fast paced and guest centric environment.
- Must be accurate and organized when taking orders and proficient with our POS system.
- Willing to work varied hour including weekends and holidays.
- Support team members in the completion of their duties to ensure satisfaction of all guest before, during and after service.
- A positive attitude, energetic and smile.
- Adhere to all company service standards and protocols including grooming and dress code standards.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3+ years preferred in serving experience in high volume environment.
- Ability to demonstrate quick thinking and adaptability in a constantly changing environment.
- Reliability, punctuality, tidiness, effective communication, and professionalism.
- Attends to all guest related need.
- Good time management.
- An OLCC and Food handler.
- Open/Flexible availability.
- Fine dining experience.

Hostess, Food runner and Busser
The host/hostess job description for Blu Mist Restaurant & Bar includes a wide variety of tasks. The host/hostess schedules dining reservations for guests in advance and as they arrive at the restaurant also see below for duties.
- Open Table experienced
- Greet Guest -Seat guest in a timely manner
- Plan all reservations in advance by reserving seats- call to confirm all reservations
- Must be able to multi-task and handle stressful situations with ease.
- Take all phone and walk-in, to-go orders
- Keep host/Hostess station clean and clutter-free.
- Restock all supplies
- Open/Flexible availability
- Good personal hygiene
- Maintain high standards of safety and cleanliness
- Adhere to grooming and appearance standards
REQUIREMENTS
- Service Mind
- An OLCC and Food Handlers card.
- Must be able to work holidays, weekends and is flexible.
- Passion for hospitality and puts the guest first.
- Reliability, punctuality, tidiness, effective communication, professionalism and ability to work with others as part of a team.
- Maintains cleanliness of the restaurant.
- Good time management
Ideally, the candidate would be able to work in a fast-paced environment, have great communication and customer service skills, work well in teams, and have the ability to multitask.
