Rocky Point Resort is a multi-revenue hospitality destination located on Upper Klamath Lakeโoffering lodging, a lakeside restaurant, boat rentals, and a general store, all surrounded by wildlife and outdoor recreation.
This is not a standard management role.
This is a hands-on operational leadership position for someone who can own the entire guest experience and business flow end-to-end.
๐ The Role: Operations Lead
You will be responsible for the day-to-day hands-on execution and performance of the entire resort, including:
Reservations & Front Desk
-Oversee booking systems, guest communication, and occupancy optimization
Lodging Operations
-Ensure cabins, hotel rooms, RV/tent sites are guest-ready and maintained
Housekeeping Management
-Set standards, manage schedules, and enforce quality control
Restaurant & Bar Oversight
-Coordinate service flow, staffing, inventory, and guest satisfactionRetail / General Store
-Manage merchandising, stock levels, and point-of-sale operations
Boat Rental Operations
-Oversee scheduling, safety compliance, and customer experience
Property Operations
-Ensure smooth coordination across all departments for a seamless guest experience
You are the central integrator ensuring everything runs efficiently, profitably, and at a high standard.

We are looking for someone who is:
Highly independent โ you donโt wait for instructions, you create systems
Operationally elite โ youโve run or significantly managed a hospitality business before
Detail-obsessed + big-picture thinker
Comfortable in a hands-on environment (this is not a desk job)
Able to lead small teams, vendors, government, regulator, compliance and seasonal staff
Strong in problem-solving, guest relations, and execution under pressure
โ Ideal Background
5+ years in hospitality, resort, hotel, or restaurant operations
Experience managing multi-department operations
Proven ability to increase efficiency, guest satisfaction, and revenue
Familiarity with reservation systems, POS systems, and inventory management
