Welcome and guide guests through the menu with warmth, product knowledge, and confident recommendations. Describe dishes, daily specials, and preparation methods accurately and enthusiastically. Suggest wine and cocktail pairings appropriate to each course and guest preference. Manage the full arc of service — from table setting and amuse-bouche to dessert and farewell — with attention to pacing and detail. Anticipate guest needs before they are expressed; handle special requests, dietary restrictions, and complaints with professionalism and grace. Coordinate seamlessly with kitchen, sommelier, and fellow floor staff.
Stock, organize, and replenish the bar throughout service — spirits, wines, garnishes, glassware, ice. Polish and stage glassware to standard before and during service. Assist bartenders with prep, running drinks, and maintaining a clean, organized bar environment. Receive and properly store bar deliveries; rotate stock and flag low inventory
