Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
Assist in menu planning, contributing ideas for seasonal dishes and specials.
Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with health and safety regulations.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace, including proper food handling practices.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies communicating info to chef.
Participate in catering events as required, providing high-quality food service to guests.
Utilize various kitchen tools, including knives, safely and effectively.
Experience:
Previous experience as a Line Cook within the restaurant or catering industry is preferred.
Strong knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques.
Familiarity with menu planning and meal preparation processes.
Strong multitasking skills.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
Excellent teamwork skills with a willingness to help others in the kitchen.
A passion for cooking and creating delicious meals that delight guests.
