Duties
Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately and efficiently using POS systems.
Engage with guests to understand their preferences, recommend drinks, and upsell menu items to enhance their experience.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety and food handling standards.
Manage cash handling, cashiering, and basic math calculations for accurate billing and transactions.
Monitor guest behavior to promote safety, especially in nightclub or banquet settings, while providing attentive customer service.
Restock bar supplies, monitor inventory levels, and place orders as needed to ensure smooth operations.
Collaborate with team members during catering or banquet events to deliver seamless service in food industry environments.
Skills
Proficiency with POS systems such as Toast for efficient order processing.
Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables or bar stations simultaneously.
Excellent customer service abilities to create welcoming atmospheres in fine dining, nightclub, or retail settings.
Experience in food service or hospitality environments, including restaurant experience or retail math skills.
Knowledge of food safety protocols, food handling procedures, and proper alcohol serving practices.
Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for cash handling and sales transactions.
Familiarity with brewing processes or beverage preparation techniques enhances your versatility in the role.
