Print Production / Client Service Associate
Hours: Monday–Friday, 10 AM – 5:30 PM (30-40 hours per week)
(Occasional early release may be available on lighter production days).
Position Overview
Eugene Direct Mail Service (EDMS) is a locally owned printing and mailing company serving businesses and nonprofit organizations throughout Oregon. We help clients with direct mail marketing, printing, inserting, mailing preparation, and USPS presort services.
We are seeking a dependable and versatile Print Production / Client Service Associate to support both front-office client interactions and production operations. This hybrid role is essential to maintaining excellent customer service while helping ensure the smooth execution of printing and mailing projects.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys variety in their day, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is comfortable balancing administrative responsibilities with hands-on production work.

Key Responsibilities
Client Service & Front Office (Morning Focus)
• Answer incoming phone calls and direct inquiries
• Greet and assist clients and prospective customers in person
• Provide updates to clients on job status via email and phone
• Gather and organize job details for new mailing and printing projects
• Prepare and send invoices to clients
• Support general administrative and customer service needs
Printing & Production Support (As Needed Throughout the Day)
• Assist with envelope printing, folding, cutting, and other printroom tasks
• Help facilitate workflow and keep jobs moving efficiently
• Provide support during high-volume production periods
• Operate and assist with digital printing equipment
• Monitor paper, envelopes, and production supply levels, and assist with organization of inventory
Printing / Mailing Operations (Afternoon Focus)
• Take a more active role in the printroom after midday
• Operate and support printing equipment for ongoing jobs
• Assist with mailing preparation tasks, including:
o Data processing
o NCOA (National Change of Address) processing
o Digital Printing
o Inventory management
o Basic document formatting and layout support using Canva, Microsoft Office, or Adobe software
• Continue to monitor and respond to client service needs while managing production tasks

• Comfortable working in both office and production environments
• Reliable, dependable, and willing to learn new systems and processes
• Physical ability to lift paper and materials weighing up to 40 lbs.

Preferred Qualifications
• Previous customer service experience
• Experience using Canva, Adobe software, or Microsoft Office tools
• Experience in digital printing, mailing, production, or office administration
• Familiarity with USPS mailing processes
