Manufactured in Denmark 1995
Jamo was founded by Preben Jacobsen and Julius Mortensen in Denmark in 1968... their brand name was a combination of the first two letters of their last names. Jamo was a former Danish manufacturer of loudspeakers that achieved significant success, becoming the largest speaker manufacturer in Europe by 1994. The company was later acquired by Klipsch Audio Technologies in 2005.
Jamo was also well known for its Scandinavian design aesthetics.
