For over forty-five years ESS has been on the cutting edge of audiophile sound reproduction. The original design of the “pyramid-shaped” AMT 1’s in 1973 introduced a new benchmark for high-end speaker performance
One of the most sought after ESS models... the 1987 ESS AMT Monitor speakers were basically the same components as the pyramid shaped series (AMT-1a, 1b, 1d etc.) in a full sized cabinet. With a larger labyrinth (internal cabinet volume) lower bass frequencies are produced.
The result is spot-on accuracy... superior sound reproduction and extended Dynamics
