Got this Realistic HTX 202 2 meter radio with some other gear. Got it to power up with a cord I had. It comes up with the Er1 code on the display. This is a common problem with these radios. The internal button cell battery for the memory is dead. It is a fairly simple repair to make. There are a lot of YouTube videos out there. Here is a link to a pretty good one https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5xO2i59c4Qw. In this video there is a link for the battery used to replace the dead one, it is about $7 on Amazon. Also the antenna has been taped at the base, needs to be replaced. I did get it to receive some radio traffic. This will need a battery and cord as well. I am selling as is for all of the above reasons and also have no way to test further.
