The Ruko U11 costs $260 new, has a good battery and camera, and is the best value drone without a gimbal. It's best to start on a drone you don't mind crashing. This one doesn't have any damage. Drones are good to get kids outside. This model is good to test the water to see if you like the hobby and crashing it won't break the bank. You can extend the range with a USB long range wifi antenna for dirty cheap but you need an Android device with a USB port; I have one for sale for $85.
