The rolling chassis (no engine. Original was an inline 6) is a fully built Scott’s Hotrods ‘n Customs setup — IFS, Wilwood brakes, Aldan coilovers, Ford 9” rear end, 31-spline axles — that alone was $17,098. We then added upgraded brakes, a Strange 3rd member with 3:89 gears, and had it all professionally installed for another $3,756. So we’re over $20,800 in receipts on the chassis and drivetrain, and that doesn’t even touch the complete original ’56 body and all the panels.
We’re not trying to get our money back — we know that’s not how it works — but we are asking $14,000. Honestly, it’s a great deal, there’s a ton of quality work already done.
