Heated seats, heated steering wheel, heated side mirrors, leather seats.
Got it from an Audi dealership. It was fun, but I guess the novelty has worn off, you know how it goes. So it's time to move on and I miss having a manual. It's been perfectly reliable as my daily driver. And I've maintained it a bunch.
What I've done:
-Put new run-flat tires on it, and alignment shortly after (BMW dealership).
-Replace the power steering reservoir (there's a filter in there) and dilute the fluid, OEM part and fluid.
-Replace spark plugs and ignition coils, OEM parts.
-Replace engine air filter with OEM filter.
-Replace cabin air filter with OEM filter.
-Replace valvetronic motor seal.
-Replace the famous mickey mouse flange with a metal one, and it's hose. Re-fill coolant with proper stuff from the dealership.
-Replace the oil filter housing gasket and pressure sensor, OEM parts.
-Replace serpentine belt and idler pulley. I have a new belt tensioner but decided not to swap it because the one on there seems fine.
-Replace some light bulbs in the rear.
-Replace the trunk weather seal.
-Had the whole drive train fluids exchanged. Not me for this one; at a Euro shop.
-Got a new key (from the BMW dealership)
-Oil changes at BMW dealership, by time not mileage.
A lot of that was for my own education and satisfaction. No mods, no tunes, just maintenance. I followed guides and used proper torque specs when appropriate.
This car is in great shape at low miles. Interior is awesome. No rattles or creaking at all. Everything works. One of the last years that the famous N52 inline 6 engine was offered, the last of the E90 era.
