I dreamt about this car in high school when my neighbor bought its twin brand new. Now I have it and I'm faced with an impossible choice: sell one of my two "second" cars or let one sit out in the Oregon rain. So far this one has seniority for the garage but it needs a loving new home. I bought it less than a year ago and have changed plans with my project car. It needs nothing. I'm the third owner (of less than a year). The previous owner had it for 18 years and spared no expense to keep it up. When I picked it up in Denver in May, I immediately had Michelin Pilot Sports ($1400) put on and the timing belt and tensioner replaced ($3000, shop said don't do water pump yet). I added MO30 (30/19 mm) sway bars, a strut brace, and adjusted the Koni shocks more to my liking for spirited PCA drives. I also changed the oil.
It comes with:
- 2 car covers
- The original 16" Cup 1 wheels (has 17" Cup 1 installed)
- Original sway bars
- Car alarm, remote door locks, remote trunk release
- Original stereo (operating condition unknown)
Notes:
- Cruise control is inoperative (sometimes works)
- All stock except
- Koni adjustable shocks
- Continental stereo head unit
- RS Barn ECU and cat back exhaust upgrade
- Maintenance records to day 1
- Rear wiper delete
- Slight dash crack starting, not visible from driver seat
- Zero rust outside; no animals or smoking inside
- Myself and previous owner are longtime PCA members
- Photos are from previous listing (Tires and plates have changed, and a strut tower brace was added in the engine compartment. I have a lift so will add undercarriage photo and video link).
Email comms are best for general questions. If you're reading this it's available. I'd consider a swap for a 200 series land cruiser under 100k miles but that's about all the dealing I can do. Located in Eugene, Oregon. Thanks!
